Condition: Stunning condition. The watch is running within incredible smoothly for it's age. With timegrapher results showing +3 to +6 seconds per day with strong amplitude, which indicates a healthy movement. With no indication of any service needs.
Dial and Hands
The matte black dial is in pristine condition and retains the classic Speedmaster legibility with its crisp white minute track and tachymeter-style layout. The three recessed subdials feature a distinct texture that adds depth to the face. The luminous indices and hands have aged beautifully, maintaining a clean and uniform white tone without any visible staining or degradation. The white chronograph hands provide excellent contrast against the dark background, ensuring functionality and visual appeal are perfectly balanced.
Case and Crystal
The 39mm stainless steel case is exceptionally preserved, showcasing sharp twisted lugs and well-defined brushed and polished surfaces. The black tachymeter bezel insert is in outstanding condition with no major scratches or fading, framing the dial perfectly. The crystal is clear and free from distracting marks. The caseback features the iconic crisp engraving of the Speedmaster Seahorse, and the pushers and Omega-signed crown operate smoothly.
Movement
Powering this timepiece is the Omega Caliber 3220, a highly regarded automatic chronograph movement based on the ETA 2892-A2 with a Dubois Dépraz chronograph module. The movement is clean and visually impressive, featuring 47 jewels and Geneva stripe finishing on the rotor. It is currently offering reliable performance.
Strap
The watch is fitted with its original stainless steel Omega bracelet, reference 1469 with 811 end links. The bracelet is in excellent condition with minimal stretch, retaining its structural integrity and comfort. The folding clasp features the Omega logo and closes securely. It is sized to fit a wrist of approximately 18cm.
Condition
This timepiece is in stunning vintage condition. The case shows only very minimal signs of handling, retaining its original geometry and finish. The dial and hands are flawless to the naked eye. The movement is clean and functioning well, and the bracelet remains tight and presentable.
