Remarks This Seiko Cronos offers a highly attractive combination of a beautiful silver sunburst dial and the desirable SD solid gold indices. The honest preservation of its gold-filled case makes it a refined and highly wearable mid-century dress watch. History Introduced in the late 1950s, the Seiko Cronos was designed as a slim, elegant dress watch that helped pave the way for Seiko's renowned line of precision mechanical timepieces in the 1960s. Produced by the Daini Seikosha factory, the Cronos line was known for its reliable manual-wind movements and refined aesthetics. The presence of the SD (Special Dial) star logo on certain models indicated the use of solid gold for the applied dial markers, a premium detail that highlights Seiko's dedication to quality during this era of Japanese watchmaking. / Second Vintage SKU: SEI-CJJ-0004
