Remarks

History
Introduced in 1968, the Lord Matic line was positioned as a premium automatic offering just below the prestigious King Seiko and Grand Seiko tiers. Powered by the sophisticated 5600 series of movements, the Lord Matic quickly became a key part of the Seiko catalog during the early 1970s. The caliber 5606 is particularly respected by collectors for its thin profile and reliable performance, which allowed Seiko to design the elegant, highly refined cases that defined the era of classic Japanese watchmaking.
