Dial and Hands

This heavy patination provides distinct visual character. Applied faceted indices mark the hours, accompanied by a distinctive red date display positioned at 3 o'clock. The dial is further detailed with an applied Rado anchor logo and the signature twin seahorse emblem. Dauphine style hour and minute hands, along with a sweep center seconds hand, display light oxidation and surface aging appropriate for the production period.
Case and Crystal
The stainless steel case retains generally defined geometry along the lugs, showing honest wear consistent with age. Moderate surface scratches and handling marks are visible on the flanks and lugs. A smooth, narrow fixed bezel frames the dial, displaying light scratches consistent with the rest of the case. The knurled crown is signed with the Rado anchor logo and shows moderate wear. On the reverse, the caseback features clear engravings, including the Rado Water-Sealed seahorse motif, surrounded by some surface scratches. A domed acrylic crystal protects the dial, remaining generally clear with minor superficial scratches visible under certain lighting.
Movement
Powering the watch is a 30-jewel automatic winding mechanism, featuring gold-tone movement plates and a visible rotor. The movement is engraved with Rado, 30 Jewels, and Swiss markings. The caliber appears generally clean, showing no obvious severe corrosion or damage. Exhibiting remarkable accuracy and consistency, performing brilliantly for a vintage timepiece. History
The Golden Horse is a well-known and relatively accessible vintage Rado model line. The reference 11675 features a 35 mm stainless steel case, a silver sunburst dial, a rotating anchor logo, twin seahorses, and a red date display. The rotating anchor logo located at 12 o'clock was originally designed to symbolize the watch's automatic winding mechanism. This reference is powered by an A. Schild automatic movement, such as the caliber AS 1789, which was utilized before Rado transitioned to ETA movements.
