Now available at auction from Second Vintage This classic 1960s Seamaster presents a beautiful even dial patina alongside its crisp caseback medallion. Characterized by its original beads-of-rice bracelet and attractive 'stardust' dial aging, this standard production model remains highly desirable in honest, original condition. Brand: Omega Model: Seamaster Reference Number: 166010 Serial Number: 20368804 Movement: Caliber 562 automatic, 24 jewels Dial: Silver sunburst with even 'stardust' patina and faceted baton indices Case Size: 35mm (excluding the crown) Case Material: Stainless steel Production Year: 1963 Condition: Good vintage condition. Movement serviced on 26 September 2026. Timegrapher: -6-8s/day, performing remarkably well. Dial and Hands The silver sunburst dial features applied faceted baton indices and a framed date window at the 3 o'clock position. Widespread, even spotting and patina stretch across the entire dial surface, creating a highly attractive 'stardust' effect. All printed text remains crisp and legible. The original style dauphine hands feature black inserts and display light oxidation with minor surface wear visible under magnification. The sweep seconds hand exhibits minor aging consistent with the rest of the dial. Case and Crystal The 35mm stainless steel case is constructed with brushed and polished lugs alongside a smooth polished bezel. The surfaces show moderate scratches and scuffs consistent with age and use, while the edges remain reasonably defined despite signs of previous polishing. The caseback is notably well-preserved, featuring a crisp Seamaster hippocampus medallion. The smooth polished stainless steel bezel shows light scratches and scuffs consistent with the case. The signed stainless steel crown displays the Omega logo and shows moderate wear. A domed acrylic crystal protects the dial, remaining generally clear with minor surface scratches visible at certain angles. Movement Inside is the copper-colored Omega caliber 562 automatic movement, featuring 24 jewels. The caliber appears very clean with bright plating and crisp engravings reading OMEGA WATCH Co SWISS, TWENTY-FOUR 24 JEWELS, 20368804, and Ω 562. There are no obvious signs of corrosion or significant tool marks on the visible components. Recording -6-8s/day on the timegrapher. Exhibiting remarkable accuracy and consistency, performing brilliantly for a vintage timepiece. The movement was serviced on 26 September 2026. Strap The watch is fitted with its original signed stainless steel beads-of-rice bracelet. The classic Omega bracelet shows moderate stretch and surface wear expected from vintage use. The clasp is signed with the Omega logo. Condition Good vintage condition. The movement was serviced on 26 September 2026 and, supported by the recorded timegrapher result, is performing very strongly. The watch displays honest vintage wear, with moderate scratches and signs of previous polishing on the stainless steel case, though the caseback medallion remains crisp. The dial has developed an even, attractive spotting across its surface, complemented by light oxidation on the original style hands. The signed beads-of-rice bracelet shows moderate stretch and surface wear. Dimensions The case measures 35mm (excluding the crown). Remarks This Seamaster is defined by its striking 'stardust' dial patina and the excellent preservation of the caseback hippocampus medallion. The inclusion of the original signed beads-of-rice bracelet completes the vintage aesthetic, making it a highly compelling example of Omega's classic 1960s design. History The Omega Seamaster reference 166.010 is characterized by its 35mm case, straight lugs, and sloped bezel. Historically, this reference was equipped with either the Caliber 562 or the Caliber 565 automatic movement. The Caliber 562 features a non-quickset date mechanism that can be advanced semi-manually by turning the hands back and forth between 9pm and 1am. The historically correct bracelet for this specific reference is the five-bead across Beads of Rice number 12 with number 11 endpieces. Payment and Shipping Payment must be completed within 1–3 days after purchase. Your watch will be professionally and securely packaged, then shipped with tracking and insurance for your peace of mind. We use fast express shipping, with typical delivery within 1–4 business days, depending on the destination. Please note that vintage watches may show minor signs of wear, aging, or imperfections, which are considered normal for watches of this age. We kindly ask you to review all photos carefully before bidding. We photograph each watch from multiple angles to provide the most accurate representation possible, and the photos form an important part of the description. The timegrapher assessment if provided is seen as an indication of the movement’s condition under fully wound testing conditions. As with all vintage watches, results may vary in daily use. If you have any concerns regarding functionality or defects after delivery, please contact us within 3 days of receiving the watch so we can assist you. As with all used watches, water resistance is not guaranteed. If you have any questions, feel free to contact us after the auction ends. / Second Vintage SKU: OME-SXX-0044
