Dial and Hands
The matte black main dial reveals excellent depth and texture, highlighted by concentric circular snailing on the subdials. The applied Omega logo and faceted hour markers remain clean and bright, while all printed text is crisp and fully intact. A clean date window is positioned at 3 o'clock with sharp numerals. The luminous plots are clean, showing no visible degradation. The pristine original polished steel hands feature luminous fill that appears consistent with the dial, exhibiting no visible oxidation, scratches, or corrosion.
Case and Crystal
The well-preserved modern case displays strong factory lines, highlighted by sharp twisted lug geometry and well-defined transitions between the brushed and polished surfaces. Light superficial scratches are present on the polished flanks and lug tops, consistent with careful wear, with no significant dents or deep dings visible. The black aluminum tachymetre insert is clean with crisp silver print, while the outer steel bezel ring shows very light handling marks but no major dents. The signed Omega crown features sharp fluting, and the chronograph pushers are clean and free of significant wear. The serial number is clearly engraved on the underside of the 7 o'clock lug. A domed sapphire crystal protects the dial, remaining clear with no visible scratches, chips, or hazing, and its anti-reflective coating appears intact.
Movement
The chronometer-certified Omega caliber 1164 automatic chronograph movement is visually clean, showing no signs of moisture, corrosion, or oxidation. Crisp perlage and Geneva stripes decorate the mechanism, complemented by a sharp rotor engraving. The engravings read OMEGA 1164, 25 JEWELS TWENTY-FIVE SWISS, and proudly display the serial number 81623766, perfectly matching the case lug. The timegrapher records -10-12s/day with strong amplitude. Exhibiting remarkable accuracy and consistency, performing brilliantly for a mechanical timepiece.
Strap
The watch is fitted with its original signed bracelet, a robust stainless steel Omega reference 1564/975 in great condition. It features solid endlinks marked 975 and a clasp signed with the Omega logo and Speedmaster text. Light desk-diving scratches are visible on the clasp and some links, consistent with normal use, with no significant stretch observed. The bracelet accommodates a maximum wrist size of 19cm.
Condition
Excellent used condition. The watch is beautifully preserved, featuring a flawless dial and pristine hands. The case retains sharp geometry, presenting only light superficial scratches on the polished flanks and lug tops, along with very light handling marks on the steel bezel ring. The original steel bracelet shows minor desk-diving wear on the clasp and links. Supported by the timegrapher result of -10-12s/day with strong amplitude, the movement is performing strongly.
