    Now available at auction from Second Vintage This classic 1970s Longines Admiral configuration is defined by its striking vertically brushed silver dial and vibrant red outer minute track, housed within a sharply preserved stainless steel tonneau case. Timegrapher: +12+14s/day, performing remarkably well. Dial and Hands The striking vertically brushed silver dial features an eye-catching red outer minute track and applied indices. At the center of its character is the prominent applied five-star Admiral logo. Close inspection under macro magnification reveals minor spotting, most notably near the 8 o'clock position. The original baton hands feature black inserts and luminous material, which displays natural aging and darkening, alongside minor oxidation on the metal surfaces. Case and Crystal The well-preserved 35mm stainless steel tonneau case showcases a beautiful sunburst brushed top contrasted by polished flanks. The case retains crisp edges and well-preserved geometry, exhibiting only light surface scratches consistent with careful wear. The original crown is clearly signed with the Longines name and winged hourglass logo, retaining good definition on its knurling. A clear domed acrylic crystal with minimal signs of wear protects the dial. Movement This Admiral is powered by an automatic movement.
