History
Introduced in the early 1970s, the Seiko Advan sub-brand was specifically created to target a younger, trend-conscious demographic in Japan. Derived from the word advanced, the Advan name reflected the line's forward-thinking and unconventional design language. Produced by Daini Seikosha, these timepieces embraced the bold aesthetics of the era, utilizing faceted crystals, vibrant dials, and unique case geometries to stand apart from traditional watchmaking.
