The stainless steel one-piece front-loading case retains its original brushed and polished finishes, with edges remaining reasonably defined. The case presents honest wear, showing light surface scratches and minor handling marks consistent with its age. An integrated polished bezel frames the dial, exhibiting light hairline scratches that match the overall character of the case. A flat crystal protects the dial and remains clear, showing no significant scratches, chips, or crazing.

The original beads-of-rice bracelet remains highly wearable, presenting minor stretch and light wear appropriate for its vintage status.

Remarks
This Lord Matic is a superb find for those who appreciate original details and strong mechanical performance. With its flawless dial, Kanji day wheel, and factory beads-of-rice bracelet, it delivers an authentic and highly satisfying vintage Seiko experience.
History
Introduced in the late 1960s, the Seiko Lord Matic series occupied a prestigious position in the brand catalog, sitting just below the King Seiko and Grand Seiko lines. Powered primarily by the sophisticated 5600 series of automatic calibers, the Lord Matic was designed for the discerning professional who wanted refined aesthetics and reliable performance. The use of front-loading one-piece cases in many models allowed for slimmer profiles while maintaining structural integrity. Today, well-preserved examples with their original bracelets are appreciated by enthusiasts of mid-century Japanese horology.
