Dial and Hands
The silver sunburst dial is heavily patinated, featuring significant localized dark staining and discoloration covering the left side between the seven and eleven o'clock positions. A striking red date numeral display sits at three o'clock, accompanied by some minor spotting and edge wear across the surface. The silver-tone dauphine hands and sweep center seconds hand are aged, showing visible oxidation and spotting.
Case and Crystal
The stainless steel case is presented with a polished finish and retains a generally defined lug shape. It displays honest vintage wear, with moderate scratches and handling marks consistent with age. The fluted bezel shows some tarnish and wear in the recesses, though its edges remain reasonably defined. A signed Rado 'R' crown shows moderate surface wear and scratches. On the reverse, the caseback features the classic Rado seahorse medallion and patent numbers. The domed acrylic crystal is clear, exhibiting some light surface scratches but no major cracks or chips.
Movement
