Dial and Hands
The exceptionally clean matte black main dial features contrasting silver concentric-circle guilloché subdials, creating a highly attractive visual dynamic. The tritium luminous hour markers have aged to a uniform creamy yellow patina. All printed text is crisp and fully intact, and there is no visible spotting, staining, or damage to the dial surface. The white painted main hands feature luminous inserts that match the dial patina perfectly, while the subdial hands are painted black. The paint and luminous material on the hands remain fully intact with no visible cracking or degradation.
Case and Crystal
The stainless steel case features brushed and polished finishes, presenting in a well-preserved state with minor signs of careful wear. The case maintains good edge definition, showing only light superficial scratches on the polished lug surfaces and case flanks. The stainless steel tachymetre bezel features crisp, fully legible black-filled engravings and shows minor hairline scratches consistent with light use. The domed crystal is clear, exhibiting no significant scratches, chips, or crazing. The watch features a signed crown with crisp fluting and the Omega logo, flanked by clean, well-defined chronograph pushers.
Movement
Powering the watch is the Omega caliber 1155 automatic chronograph movement. The gold-toned movement plates and rotor are engraved with "OMEGA 1155", "17 JEWELS SEVENTEEN SWISS", and "7750". The caliber presents a clean appearance with no visible corrosion, oxidation, or damaged screw heads. Recording +1+3s/day on the timegrapher, the movement is exhibiting remarkable accuracy and consistency, performing brilliantly for a vintage timepiece.
Strap
The watch is fitted with its original signed stainless steel Omega bracelet. The clasp is signed with the Omega logo and 'Speedmaster', while the endlinks are stamped '813'. The bracelet is original and well-preserved, showing normal light desk-diving scratches on the clasp and links. It accommodates a maximum wrist size of 17.5 cm.
Condition
Excellent vintage condition. The case is well-preserved, retaining good edge definition while displaying light superficial scratches on the polished flanks and lugs. The dial is exceptionally clean, with crisp printing and a highly attractive, even tritium patina that perfectly matches the hands. The tachymetre bezel remains crisp with minor hairline scratches, and the original signed bracelet shows expected light desk-diving marks. Supported by the recorded timegrapher data, the movement is performing brilliantly.
